We’ve formulated a method to help optimize your resume that can increase the response rate for your job applications dramatically.
It’s about getting employers to call you for an interview!
The more phone calls you get the sooner you’ll get a job.
In this new age of on-line job search, a lot of the old rules of resume writing have become redundant. Constantly we hear stories from students that have applied for hundreds of jobs online, only to get a few, if any responses.
Because Recruitment agencies and HR departments can receive 100’s or even 1000’s of resumes per day, they now rely on resume filtering software to help them filter and store resumes, thus saving them time. This software automatically sorts and tags a resume by its keywords and key phrases.

This means your resume has to be structured in a way that can be read by this filtering software. If your resume is not optimized, sometimes it can not be tagged by their software (or tagged incorrectly) and you’ll receive an automated email saying that your application was “unsuccessful”. In other words, no one actually read your resume!
If you’ve made it past the resume software, and a real person actually reads it. The decision maker normally takes about 10 seconds to decide if he or she will call you for a phone interview (again, because they read so many resumes per day they make quick decisions), therefore your resume should provide clear, concise and compelling answers to why they should call you.
